Plastic Ocean |
A workshop which includes lots of drama, by reenacting Florence Nightingale’s story.
The children will have the opportunity to create their own Florence Nightingale puppet, Nightingale Nurse or Soldier puppet. The workshop will conclude with the children helping me to finish a song based on the story of Florence Nightingale. Whole class workshop. Years 1 -3 |

Children will use plastic to make sea creatures, watch a thought-provoking video from the film ‘A Plastic Ocean’, and will work together to create a piece of artwork using paint and plastic that portrays a powerful message. Small groups or whole class workshops. Years 3 - 6 |

The Stone Age |
Children will get the opportunity to move like Dinosaurs and help act out a Dinosaur story. They will sing and play instruments to a Dinosaur song, then finally they will make their own creative dinosaurs.

Based on the story of 'Stone Age Boy'.
What would you do if you arrived in the Stone Age? What do you see? What do you feel? This workshop will inspire the children with their writing as they get into character and explore their feelings in this new world. Full of lots of drama, art and music. Small groups or whole class workshops. Years 2 - 4 |
The Great Fire of LondonThe workshop will begin with a range of music and movement activities. This will lead nicely onto the children creating their own 'Fire of London' background, then firefighter puppets.
We will then look at the song 'London's Burning' which we will build up to sing as a round, as well as using sound effects learnt at the beginning of the session. The workshop will end with the children creating their own 'Fire of London' rounds, with an opportunity to perform at the end. Whole class workshops. Years 2 - 4 |

Mini BeastsArts2Educate has teamed up with the talented ‘Urban Furniture Perspective’ and can now introduce to you these fabulous giant ‘mini-beasts’.
Why not go on a ‘mini-beast’ trail then create stories around each creature you find? Where do they live? What do they eat? … are they off on a mini adventure? You could take part in observational drawings or use scrap materials to create your own ‘mini-beasts’. Small groups or whole class workshops. Years 1 - 6 |
The RomansA busy workshop based on the story of Romulus and Remus. The children will paint their own Roman backdrop, create their own Roman soldier puppets and learn and then write their own Roman Military Chants.
The workshop will end with the children using their puppets to perform their Military Chants to the rest of the class. Whole class workshops. Years 3 - 6 |
