'The Big Draw Festival' is coming to Boscombe Sovereign Centre; the event will be held during February half-term, 15th, 16th and 17th February.
15th and 16th February:
Techniques will be taught for young people aged 5 - 13 to make up their own Graffiti Tags and Banksy-like images which will all go onto a final piece of work. Each young person involved will be able to make the project completely personal to them.
If they enjoy football, that can be a part of their project. If they enjoy dancing, that can be a part of their project. Anything goes!
Alongside this you will be able to observe talented local artists, copy their work and chat to them whilst they are making and creating.
Return to see your art presented as part of an exhibition in the Sovereign Centre. As well as this watch artists paint and draw alongside live-music played by Chris Woods Groove and Lewis Jordan Brown.
The day will end with the Mayor presenting prizes for the most innovative young artists from the Festival.
Arts2Educate is so excited about this event, we look forward to seeing you there.
